| Event Details: | The University of Mysore (UoM), which is celebrating its Centenary, today unveiled the bronze statue of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu installed in front of the newly constructed grand entrance of Manasagangotri on Bogadi Road here to coincide with the birth anniversary of the Poet Laureate, the statue was jointly unveiled by Kuvempu’s student and former Vice Chancellor of Mysore University, Prof D Javaregowda (Dejagow) and Mysuru Kodagu MP Pratap Simha to mark the “Vishwa Manava Dina” celebrations, in Mysuru on Tuesday 29th December 2015 |
