| Event Details: | Following the deadly road mishap in Hebbal yesterday, which claimed two lives and left several pedestrians critically injured, around 1000 students from colleges located around Kempapura Airport Road have taken to streets today demanding safer roads, students staged a protest against the Traffic Police Department, BBMP and other concerned civic bodies, the protestors are demanding for a sky walk at several places in Kempapura junction, traffic on the airport road had come to a standstill as the students had blocked the roads from both sides and the passengers to the airport had to leave their vehicles and catch other means of transport to the airport to catch a flight, in Bengaluru on Friday 27th February 2015 |
