Farmers of Four Districts like Navalgund, Nargund, Gadag, Haveri, Hubballi and Dharwad who are the most affected and are distressed due to scarce water for agriculture purpose, came in large numbers and were not allowed entry into the conference hall, Vidhana Soudha, as their invited leaders were already in the meeting, resorted to protest in the corridors on third floor where the meeting was in progress on the controversial Kalasa Bandouri Water Project with political leaders and religious heads and farmers, in Bengaluru on Saturday 2nd April 2016
