The followers of V Muniyappa EX minister and Ex MLC of Siddallaghatta who laid siege before the Hotel Lalith Ashok where chief minister Siddaramaiah was attending a function and as he emerged they stopped his convoy and were demanding that V Muniyappa be given the MLC ticket for the ensuing MLC elections from congress, as Siddaramaih climbed on his car and heard them patiently before the siege was lifted, in Bengaluru on Tuesday 8th December 2015
