Event Description : Most of the roads from Mysuru City to Ooty route were flooded after the revival of the southwest monsoon in Kerala and parts of Karnataka and in the upper catchment areas of the Cauvery and the Kabini has augmented the inflow and outflow water, 80,000 cusecs of water was released from the Kabini reservoir, even as 42,000 cusecs of water was released from KRS dam, and the traffic on National Highway 766 has been diverted after the NH near near Mallanna Mobile got submerged following heavy outflow from the Kapila reservoir, in Mysuru on Friday 10th August 2018
