Event Description : People standing in queues outside Reserve Bank of India office at Nrupathunga Road to deposit the scrapped Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes were asked to leave as deadline for depositing was 30th Dec 2016, only the Non Resident Indians (NRI) can deposit the scrapped Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes till 30th June 2017 and Resident Indian Citizens, who were abroad can deposit the scrapped Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes till 31st March 2017, only after providing appropriate supporting documents, in Bengaluru on Monday 2nd January 2017
