5 kidnappers of Ishaan Bapat, son of Kirloskar MD Vinayak Bapat were arrested , the 5 accused are Eshwar Muniyappa, 29, of KR Puram, Hasan Dhongri Mohammed Ghouse, 26 of Kodigehalli, Jagadish Muni Anjanappa, 32, Yelahanka, Jagannatha Muniyappa alias Dummajaga and Manoj Raj alias Kencha, 2 of the arrested were film actors, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner addressed a press conference regarding the mysterious abduction of Ishaan Bapat at Police Commissioner Office, in Bengaluru on Monday 29th August 2016
