Four adult elephants and a calf which had strayed into the urban part on Monday, are causing a headache to the Forest Department officials as the elephants are reluctant to go back to the forest, at present these elephants have stayed put in a sugarcane field near Kuppegala which is surrounded by Forest, Police and Revenue Department personnel to prevent villagers from entering the field and also to prevent the elephants from straying into the village, in Mysuru on Friday 27th May 2016
